High demand for ultra-high pressure pumps
The new ultra-high-pressure hydraulic pumps, launched in January 2016, have experienced high demand. They are ideal for oil rigs, wind turbines, railways and a variety of other industries - wherever bolt tension is applied. The pumps are available with two different pressures, 150 and 227 MPa. The pumps are also offered in three different designs:
- Complete equipment: frame/handle with two pressure gauges and valve. Perfect when you need full control of your hydraulic system.
- An air pressure regulator that allows total control of the hydraulic pressure in the system by adjusting the input air pressure.
- The CAG pump pressure gauge also has the option to change whether the hydraulic pressure is measured as return pressure, after up to 8 tools have operated, or output pressure when using only one tool. The setting is easily done by turning a knob.
- The entire system is enclosed in a protective frame, which also serves as a carrying handle for easy handling.
- As always, safety first! The pressure gauges are behind a polycarbonate cover.
- The best solution if you primarily want a robust, stationary pump that can still be easily transported when needed.
- Want to keep it simple? If you don't need to connect more than one tool at a time and if pressure gauges are not important to you, then a 'naked' pump is best. No frame, no gauges, no air valve - just the pump itself. You'll still get the job done, and at a lower cost!
