The use of extension tubes means a reduction in the possible utilisation rate of the cylinder capacity. For a diagram, see the figure “Reduction of cylinder capacity” below.

Example: CFC102 at full working pressure can only be extended by 800mm.

When fitting extension tubes to CFC cylinders, adapters are required:

  • TF50 to all 49 kN CFC cylinders
  • TFG100 to all 111 kN CFC cylinders
  • TFG250 to all 250 kN CFC cylinders
